That eclipse was amazing. I don't even have the right words to articulate how

incredible of an experience that was for me to get to see. I hope that you got

to see it and I hope that it blew your mind as well. I leading up to writing the

eclipse song. I had done tons and tons of research on everything I could find

about eclipses. I watched footage. I listened to interviews of people that had

seen it and kind of articulated their experience of it. And everything I

learned prior to that actual eclipse and seeing it with my own eyes led me to

believe this was going to be a truly beautiful and magnificent experience. But

in the back of my head I kept thinking there is no way that this could ever

possibly live up to my overly high expectations after after hearing so much

praise. I just I had overhyped it in my head and I thought alright this is

going to be great. I'm sure but there's I got to keep my expectations low but

they weren't low. They were incredibly high and even still I can truly say that

that was that was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had in my

life. There truly are no words like every every picture you see of a total

solar eclipse is beautiful in its own way. But seeing it with with your own eyes

is something that I think everybody should try to see in their lifetime if

possible. A couple friends of mine Brian, Justin and Bob went to we drove south to

Carbondale, Illinois which is about six or seven hours away from where I live

and so we woke up at 12.30 in the morning the day of the event and tried to avoid
