And I'm Carol Markowitz. The news has been somewhat weird, not overly so.

I think people are still adjusting to the election results, but the appointments have started rolling in and commentary on those

appointments has been a bit hysterical.

Yeah.

I think there's like a, it's not as bad as last time, I would say.

As bad as last time.

So that's, it's a mild improvement.

And I do think there needs to be like a defcon chart

for where you should be. Yeah. If you're a person in the press covering Trump and like whether

you should be worried about whatever he's doing it at any given moment. The problem is they can't

gauge. So they just like kind of freak out about everything. And that that's not a good way to do news. And I would say that this transition compared to his last one, because he didn't know he was going to win last time, is much smoother. Susie Wiles is a professional who's like, we're cranking through these names, right? We're getting them quickly. It feels like there's a plan.

Yeah.

So I think that helps.

I also have really liked almost all of the picks.

I feel particularly defensive of the Pete Hexeth pick.

Not just because I've met Pete, you know, I can't say we're friends, but we're friendly.
