Hey guys. I'm back. Had an hour of sleep. Normally, the show with normalish takes for when the news gets weird. I'm Mary Catherine Ham. And I'm Carol Markowitz. Good morning, Mary Catherine. How are you? I'm good. You know, it was a big night. I was up till 3.30 on air, Fox broadcast, and then I slept for an hour and a half.

Wow. You looked amazing on air. Green is very much your color. I think green and pink are your two

colors. All right. I'm going to keep it in mind. I liked it. I've gone full blazer now. I'm like a

real grown-up. So we are here the morning after the election.

It's actually afternoon.

We don't know how to tell time anymore.

It was quite a night.

Did it go the way you thought it was going to go?

So two things.

I predicted that Trump would win. I thought every data point is pointing toward

him being on better footing than he was in 2020 and in some cases better footing than 2016.

And then I prayed for a decisive win, but that was not data-based. I just was like, I think

that would be good for the country. That would be good for the country. And it turns out we got both of those things, because now

we have a decisive electoral college win for Trump. And is it official that there will be

likely the popular vote as well? I don't know. It won't be official for a long time because

California has to count ballots for like 18 weeks or something.

But I do think that is good for public trust.

It is good for all of us to avoid having a big constitutional crisis and fight about the outcome of the election.

And I was surprised by how so many things moved red, thanks to Donald Trump at the top of

the ticket, including up to now 53 Senate seats, like possibly more by tomorrow, because it's going to take a little while

in Pennsylvania where Dave McCormick has a lead.
