Nora Roberts is the author of identity. You've probably heard of her because she is a number

one New York Times bestselling author. Nora was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, the youngest of five children, and worked briefly as a

legal secretary. She was stuck in a blizzard in February of 1979 and decided to try

another creative outlet when snowed in with a three and six year old with no kindergarten

respite in sight.

She was born into a family of readers and was always making up stories.

So she took out a pencil and notebook and began to write down a story.

Her first book, Irish Thuribred, was published in 1981.

She got married in 1985 and has opened a bookstore, traveled the world with her husband, and done amazing things.
