This chat is with Helen, a Debussy Academy alum that was able to break into front office investment banking at Raymond James coming from Wake Forest.

She joined the Academy early her sophomore year, and in this chat, she shares one of the key ways the program helped improve her resume to land more interviews.

All right, Helen, thanks so much for taking the time to chat with us today. Obviously, congratulations on your internship and on your offer.

Let's start out with just giving the listeners just a little summary of your background,

kind of where you're from and all that.

So I'm Helen.

I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina originally, and am now a sophomore at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina originally and am now a sophomore at Wake Forest University and

Winston-Salem, North Carolina. So at Wake Forest here, I got into the business school this past

December of my sophomore year, which is super great and exciting, but also regarding the process

for, you know, investment banking and internships, it set you

a little bit behind just because you don't, you haven't taken any finance classes or anything

like that. But, yeah, outside of, outside of that, you know, came to Wall Street always just

got to get some help in that regard, I guess. So, yeah. And you're a soccer player, right? Are you

used to play? Do you play a wake or no?

I don't know.

Senior year of high school, I hurt my knee, so I've been out since then.

But yeah.

So you joined, you joined W.S.O. County, it was what, like a fall semester,

sophomore year, which I would call kind of like the last, like,
