Hey guys I'm recording a very special emergency broadcast. I wish there was no reason for me to have to do this.

Having said that, I do feel like it's kind of exciting to have to do an emergency broadcast.

But again, if I could go back and not have to do this emergency broadcast, but again if I could go back and not have to do this

emergency broadcast, I would in a New York second. As many of you know who have

already downloaded the episode for this week, there were some very terrible audio issues. I didn't know how

serious they were when I recorded the intro and I feel terrible that I pinned

it on Christie. Clearly it was not just a matter of like holding the microphone far away.

There are times when the audio is so gone that there's no reason for it.

It had to have been a mic or cable problem that just wasn't showing up on the tracking of my garage band program.

So because I do keep that open and I watch it while I'm recording since we don't have a

producer on site. So anyway I just want to apologize to Christie again for this

happening and the really good news is guys that half of the episode is terrific and has no problem

with the sound and so we're going to keep that half but Christie and I are going

to record a new first half today so what I encourage you strongly, I can't make you do it, but I

certainly strongly encourage you to do is go ahead and delete the episode that

downloaded already and just hang tight because you're not going to miss out on

anything, you're going to get a great new episode with Christie that is infinitely more listenable and

still chock full of delightful tales so please bear with us and again I just really

appreciate your understanding. I think I've been very lucky that more of the

stuff hasn't happened but I certainly feel completely sick to my stomach that

had happened with Christie so I'm very excited to to remedy the situation and I

appreciate your support guys and I'll talk to you soon okay
