opinion that matters what's good oh yeah yeah well I'll tell What's good? Oh, yay, yay.

It's time to light the lights.

The Muppets show is now running on Disney Plus and you know I had long since gotten used to the idea that my nostalgia was going to take a backseat to subsequent generations nostalgia and I could watch them get excited about you know the new

saved by the bell on peacock which is a fun show but like I just have no connection to save by the

bell but boy howdy the Muppet show was just everything to me growing up it felt

kid-friendly and weirdly sophisticated at the same time it was the only show that my parents would

actually let us watch while we were still at the dinner table once a week when it came on

Yeah, it's so it's been a real treat to go back and revisit the show and sort of see the evolution how like in the first few episodes

Miss Piggy wasn't quite Miss Piggy yet but then they would sort of land on what

the right formula and the right eye shadow was for her and yeah it's it's great television and you know for the folks who were getting

to experience all for the first time I envy you the the this delight of a variety show.
