Daniel shares all about his experiences growing up and chasing a variety of big game animals from the hills to the marshes. Daniel also shares insight on different strategies for hunting moose caribou and a number of other animals depending on the rut and timing within the season. Dan inquires about calling strategies, location and asks if his expectations are too high for their first hunt based on Daniel’s experience. Daniel tells stories of when he went in too deep on a hunt and spent 2 days packing a moose out from the backcountry. They both share about difficult packouts and how even though they are brutal they find themselves always wanting more difficult situations and adventures.
