Summary

On this episode of The Nomadic Outdoorsman Dan talks with Evan McElyea, a die hard waterfowler and bow fisherman from Michigan. Dan and Evan discuss everything from banded birds to shooting goldfish. Evan is from a small town in southeast Michigan. He grew up hunting and fishing and always wanted to make it a career. He and his partner currently run a guide service in Michigan called Northern Flight Outdoors, where they specialize in hunting ducks and geese in dry fields. If he’s not waterfowl hunting he is in a treestand hunting whitetails, ice fishing for big walleye on Saginaw Bay or taking the boat out bowfishing. It’s safe to say that Evan is an all around outdoorsman and he loves to pursue anything and everything Michigan has to offer.
