Hello, let us begin our Rosary in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen. The title of our Rosary is Noise versus Silence, But before we begin let's call to mind all those for

for some people who are struggling with cancer. So we continue to offer

them up in our prayers. We pray for the Canelies and for Paul Sherman and his family.

I'd like to pray for all priests and our clergy and all those suffering from COVID, whether it's physical, spiritual, or economic.

discover his peace. Somehow, I've been put on a couple of new site outlets that send me headlines via email.

I notice that if I scan these headlines, I immediately lose my peace.

I feel eager or anxious or angry or fearful etc. But when I open up

the sacred scriptures or a good spiritual book and read that instead I'm calmed, comforted, and know that God is the one in control.

God's word restores my perspective. This is why it is so important for us to make a real effort, not a flabby one, to tune out the world and spend more time in silence, more time focusing on

God's word. We cannot forget the things of this world because they are passing, even things that seem so important, things like politics, investments, sports, entertainment, etc.
