From what I'm hearing, Trump was actually amenable to that to avoid a shutdown.

Fulton County, Georgia officials confirm that the FBI seized 2020 election records from two warehouses.

The warehouses contained information about the 2020 election, paper ballots, images of ballots,

voter rolls, and tabulator tapes.
