and creator of haunting tales, Reggie Oliver,

is with us again this episode.

This marks his first reappearance on nocturnal transmissions since his exquisite inaugural offering,

Mr. Pigsney.

Way back in episode 26. We're so terribly excited to be sharing another deliciously dark tale from

this wonderful writer that we shall forego all waffling until after this story has been told.

So, in the spirit of honoring the promise made in that previous sentence, without further ado, without further hindrance, without further surcease,

suspension, obstruction, or prorogation, nocturnal transmissions is very, very proud to present.

It was over a week after they arrived that Alan finally met the new tenants. They occupied the

flat next to his on the top floor of a mansion block high above the archway road, and though

he had not seen them, he had heard their music regularly through the thin wall that separated their apartments.

He had also heard their voices when they sang along with the choruses they played. A number that

Alan assumed was called Shine Jesus Shine, because they were the only words he could distinguish,

was a particular favourite of theirs.

When that was being played, he not only heard enthusiastic contributions from a male and female

voice, but also an occasional fusillard of rhythmical thumps as if they were dancing.

He suspected that his flat and that next to it had been one in the past, and that an

enterprising developer had converted it into two with more consideration for profit than the
