This suggestion came from Thomas, who evidently believed that the nocturnal transmissions faithful would be receptive

to a relentless onslaught of wretchedness, despair, and revulsion, chronicling the eve

of a vile, unthinkable, Lovecraftian Armageddon.

Well, I had my doubts.

So I have attempted to inoculate you, as it were, over the course of a year with horrors and shocks that might best prepare you for this abject tale of creeping havoc.

Now, thanks to the careful preparation to which you have been,

unwittingly subjected, gentle listener,

I do believe you are ready.
