0:42.1	other than Joe Ar. Lansdale himself. Just to geek out for a moment, it was his
0:51.0	Bram Stoker Award-nominated novella, Bubba Hotep, which was made into the cult movie of 2002,
1:00.0	starring none other than Sam Ramey's best buddy, Bruce Campbell.
1:07.0	A favorite go-to guy when it comes to battling the undead and unnatural.
1:17.7	Mr. Lansdale has written novels and stories in many genres,
1:22.3	including Western horror, science fiction, mystery and suspense.
1:26.6	He has also written for comics and Batman, the animated
1:31.8	series. As of 2020, he has written 50 novels and published more than 30 short story collections.
1:42.4	His stories have won. Ten Bram Stoker Awards, a British Fantasy Award,
1:48.2	an Edgar Award, a World Horror Convention Grand Master Award, a Sugar Prize, a Grinzani Kavur,
1:54.1	a prize for literature, a Spur Award, and a Raymond Chandler Lifetime Achievement Award.
2:06.6	He has been inducted into the Texas Literary Hall of Fame, and he has been kind enough to give nocturnal transmissions his blessing to share one of his dark tales with you.
