I know it's been a week but I was off on my last traveling hunt of the year I think.

In Oklahoma I was out with some good friends of mine.

A couple really good buddies had an awesome time but I did not get a deer.

Had several packs of wild crazy hogs come in and totally wreck my plans for a good evening hunt

or good morning hunt on white tails but such is life.

I guess if you're south of the central point now in the United States you're dealing with

So first few days I really didn't want to shoot any because I didn't want to kind of

booger up my spots but once I realized that that's just how it was going to go and it was

inevitable that they were going to be wrecking my spots I finally decided to just shoot a couple

the huge dominant boars that I had seen and it was pretty cool.

Got some great shots posted one of the shots on my Instagram account which is actually pretty

cool because that boar in particular had a massive front shield on his shoulder.

It was so thick it felt like a piece of one inch plywood and although I did go through the one side

it stopped when I hit the shield on the opposite side but really good testimony to how well that
