So tensions in the middle east are heating up as Trump who has said he does not want to go to war. He ran on this.

He doesn't want to go to war with Iran. He said over the weekend that the US will be sending an undisclosed number of troops to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia following the attacks on Saudi oil fields allegedly perpetrated by Iran.

Japan and France are at odds with the US and Saudi allegations that Iran is responsible citing that the Houthis have claimed responsibility for the attack.

Japan also doubted the US assertion that Iran was responsible for the attack of one of their tankers transporting oil to Syria through the Gulf of Oman over the summer.

You all remember that with the video of the quote unquote pirates with the explosives on the boat.

And in a press conference on Friday, Mark Esper, that's the sec death and Mark Dunford. That's the chairman of the Joint Chiefs told reporters that Trump approved the development or the deployment.

Excuse me. Of troops troops for air and missile defense at the request of the kingdom at the request of Saudi Arabian United Arab Emirates. Our new commanders in chief.

Perfect. So not only are we going to not hold them accountable. We're going to help them.

So Dunford is calling it a moderate troop deployment. And the best anyone was able to get out of him was probably not thousands.
