many, many others not only broke out from this legendary Greenwich Village hotspot, they regularly return to try out new material.

Trained as a lawyer, Gnome is a staunch defender of the First Amendment, and in an era of groveling apologies and censorship on the down low, he remains outspoken

on the value and importance of free expression to a flourishing society.

His podcast live from the table has guests ranging from Israel critic Normal Finkelstein

to atheist Sam Harris to former Reesner's Radleyley, Balco, and Michael Moynihan, and never

has a dull moment. We talk about free speech, the history of comedy in Greenwich Village,

You have a, you know, you own the comedy seller and the village underground and one other club in New York?

The sap like pussycat.

That's right.

They're all under the comedy's whole umbrella now, but it didn't used to be.

Okay.

And so you're taking over this whole part of town, and then you have a club in Vegas as well.

In Vegas, yeah, at the Rio Casino.
