The air was heavy with rain, but no one could feel it except for Noah. He felt it heavy against his

skin while he tended to his fields. He felt it thick against his hair even when the sun was shining.

He felt it struggling in the pit of his stomach, like a bird trying to fly to shelter before a

thunderstorm rolls in. The air was heavy with rain and a flood was fast approaching.

Noah was a simple man. Like most people in his home along the Nile River, he farmed and

fished to feed his family. He had three strapping sons, Shem, Ham, and Jeff, who helped him raise

his crops, and he had a wonderful wife named Nama, who helped him raise his sons. It was a life

of simple work and much pleasure, but still, Noah couldn't shake the feeling that a storm was coming.
