Jacqueline, sometimes I talk about how I got my start in podcasting and I always bring it back to our time together in Houston with real beauty, real women, having the radio show, having somebody reach out, want to work with me, and then we had this great show together.

But before we talk about how that translated into what you're doing now, I want to go in the

Wayback Machine and go back to New Jersey when you were wanting to make documentary films

and how you achieved that dream. Sure. Well, thank you so much for having me on. I love being

on the show and I just love seeing all the stuff that you're doing.

I'm so proud of you and I'm so excited for you. I'm going to date myself a little bit, but

a little bit over 20 years, I had wanted to make a film called Not in My Backyard to really

expose how violence was affecting women and children in America, specifically family violence.

And at the time, I was managing a restaurant and pub and bartending.

And I didn't know how I was going to pay for, to create a documentary because there

wasn't cameras on cell phones.

You had to buy a big cameras and filmmaking was completely different. So I'd save

$25,000 in quarters from bartending, which was a crazy thing that I thought, okay, I won't miss any
