newscast. It is February 3rd, 2025. I am joined by Radio Free Mormon and Rebecca Biblioteca.

How are the two of you tonight?

I'm great.

Thanks for asking. Fabulous. Excited to share the news. There's a lot this week. It's good. There is. So let's jump into it, folks. We will put up here on the screen. There's the thumbnail for tonight. No tithing refund for you. and our top stories, we're going to start off with that one.

Radio Free Mormon will bring us that story. Rebecca Biblioteca will talk to us about the Mormon cricket,

a victory for Satan. And I will then talk about ICE and immigration and what the church has to say about that.

And then Rebecca will take us home with, do I have to talk to my bishop about my AI boyfriend? And we'll begin with Mr. Radio

Free Mormon. All right. So I've got three announcements to make. The first one is I'll actually be covering another short story with some slides I sneaked in at the last minute in between

there. So that'll remain a surprise until we get to it.

The second thing is this, is that you see this tie I'm wearing tonight? This tie is like 40 years old

as a tie my mom got for me back in the 80s. And so when I wear it, I wear it in honor of her.

And I got to tell you, I'm very proud of

this knot. I've managed to tie in it. That is a hell of a good looking knot in that tie. It's a great nod. President Nelson doesn't have as good a look and nod as I did tonight. All right. It's just kind of, you know, touch and go. Nothing's guaranteed that you're going to get a good nod, but tonight I did.

And the third thing is this, is that I was going to cover and I was assigned to cover and I did

cover this recent Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision regarding James Huntsman versus the LDS

Church that was issued on Friday last.
