minute the death of a paddle border near a campground in rural Maine is being investigated as a homicide,

and police are asking the public for help finding the killer. The body of 48-year-old Sunshine

Stewart was found by state game wardens around 1 a.m. July 3rd near 100-acre island. It's a nature preserve

on Crawford Pond in Union, Maine, only accessible by water. Stewart lived about a half hour from the pond, and police say she went paddleboarding

between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. the night before and never returned home.

The matter of death was ruled a homicide, but the cause of death was not initially released to

the public. The killing has ignited fear within the local community as authorities have not

yet named a suspect in the mysterious murder,

and residents are already paranoid about the possibility of a serial killer lurking within the New England region

following a series of unexplained deaths in recent months.
