Stress is not a foreign concept to any of us. As humans, stress is a natural occurrence within

the body that helps us to respond effectively to threats. We wouldn't survive without it.

However, when left unchecked, stress becomes chronic and detrimental to our well-being.

In a modern world that is moving faster and faster, it's important that we take time to slow down and reset.

And without these breaks, neither body nor mind get the downtime that they need.

But let's remember first things first, very importantly, that stress is normal. It happens and we feel it one time

or another. I think we have the tendency sometimes to become stressed about future stress.

Like we worry about, well, I was stressed yesterday and today. I was feeling stressed again. so tomorrow I'll feel stressed.

Well, my question is why?

Why not just take every moment one step at a time and see what happens. The stress response has done a good job

at protecting us from real imminent danger. However, stresses came in different forms in the past. For example, cavemen

had to respond to things like maybe bears. If there were bears in ancient times perhaps it were and the forces of

nature in order to stay alive whereas today our stressors come most often the form of deadlines, mistrains, to-do lists.

But the body reacts the same whether we face a bear on our way to work or excuse me or on our way to work I hope you don't
