I wrote a column. I hope you read called Escape from New York. If you saw that movie,

starring Kurt Russell, you'll identify with the column even more, but even if you didn't see it,

was happening here in New York right now, is a disaster. So let's start with President Trump.

His numbers on the pandemic are not good. Now, I know many of you are Trump supporters, and you

often write to me and you say, well, what about this and what about that and what about the economy

and what about China on and on and on. And I will tell you again that I come November most Americans,

not you, but most Americans will vote emotionally, emotionally. All right. Doesn't matter what happened

in the past. It's how they're feeling now, now being November. So keep that in mind. Now Donald

to me has done a decent job, but maybe a little bit better because he did stop the flights from

China before anybody else. So let's say a good job on the pandemic, but at this point at the end of

May, he is now unfocused, unfocused, and his numbers are going down. I'll give them two you in a moment.

What has to happen if Donald Trump wants to be reelected? I believe he does want it,

but he's lucky because he drew a very weak candidate Joe Biden and President Trump may be overconfident.

But if he really wants to be reelected, he's got to do things that he is not doing now,

and I'll tell you what they are. So first the numbers for the pandemic approval.

Donald Trump has a 43.4% approval rating 54.3 disapproved. This is according to the real,

clear politics average oppose. Average oppose. Job approval Donald Trump 44 disapproved 54.

So that's about the same. He's got a 10 point deficit. Now these polls are not reflective of what's

going to happen two weeks from now. If there's a virus vaccine, if there's a medicine, if the

thing collapses, the pandemic collapses, Trump's numbers will rise. It's not down about that.
