So I've always been interested in why we're able to show up for others at times, but not necessarily ourselves.

Like if you have a paper that's due on Friday, most likely you're getting it to paper done.

If your boss needs you to be able to work at 7am every morning, you're going to be there at 7am every morning.

If you're in the gym with your friend or a trainer and they tell you three more reps,

you're going to do three more reps and you may even do five more reps.

But when it comes to ourselves, sometimes we fall short. When it comes to ourselves,

sometimes we simply don't show up for ourselves.

We pull a no show.

You know, I'm sure we've all had a friend pull a no show on us where they said,

hey, let's do this Thursday. Hey, let's do this Friday.

Or hey, let's meet up here at this coffee shop.

I like two minutes before you're supposed to meet you.

Oh, something came up.

Oh my God, what a pet pee for me.

What a pet pee for me.

Or people who tell you they're going to be late when they're already 10 minutes late.

Oh, hey, I'm going to be late.

Yeah, you're already late, so I already know that.

When people do no shows, right?

You know how that feels? You feel disrespected.

You feel like your time is invaluable or they don't value your time.

Unless they have some grant or something like a beautiful, really good excuse,
