Hello there I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast. Well the party is over, the

elections are done, the inauguration is inaugurated, Washington is reset, ready for a Biden

administration, and now comes the hard part governing. President Biden kicked off his first

day in the White House, more than a dozen executive actions, with a heavy focus on fighting

COVID-19, and even though there's a lot on the agenda, almost every day for the new Biden

administration has to be focused on COVID, COVID, and you will hear a lot about it. And oh

yeah, there's still a major economic crisis. Washington is still divided. President Biden's

call to stop this uncivil war. Foreign adversaries like China are still out there looking for a

way to gain leverage against the United States. In fact, China may be presenting Joe Biden with his

first. We always wonder which adversaries going to test the new president first? Well their decision

to essentially sanction and ban any American official that worked for Trump, not quite that much,

but pretty close, is an interesting marker they want to lay down and see how the Biden team reacts.

So that will be something to be watching as well. But before I go any further, I do also want to

thank you for listening to the podcast and we had a great year in 2020, 2021, and started off

a bit chaotically. And you may have noticed some changes to the schedule. So I wanted to share some

of our plans with you starting this year. We're going to introduce a new show on Mondays featuring

my top takeaways from me to press on Sunday and Carrie Dan's number of the week. The main

podcast show will continue to come out on Wednesdays. And we've got a few surprises coming up later in
