Would you go to Ephesians, please?

For some weeks now, we've been on a series that we're calling no place for the devil.

How much place do we want him to have?

Zero.

None.

And our main text is here in Ephesians four Ephesians four and 21 it says if you have heard him and I've been taught by him as the truth is in Jesus,

that you put off concerning the former conversation, that means way of life, the old man.

Everybody say put off, the old man, which said it's corrupt according to the deceitful lust.

Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

See, even though when you're born again, the inner man,

hidden man of the heart, becomes a new creation.

Your heart wasn't healed when you were born again. It was recreated. Recreated. But just because the inner man has become a new man, old things are passed away, doesn't mean your mind

thinks all like God. Your mind needs to be renewed. Keep going. And he said that you put on

the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Now who's going to put off the old man and put on the new man?

Who's going to do that?

He's telling them to do it.

He's telling us to do it.

God doesn't do this for you.

How many have found that God doesn't do this for you. How many have found that? God doesn't do everything for you.

No.
