Would you turn to it, the book of Ephesians, please, the fourth chapter.

For some weeks now, we've been on the subject of no room or no place for the devil.

And our text, here, our main text text is Ephesians 4

Ephesians 4 about verse

23

he's talking about being renewed in the spirit of your mind

putting on the new man, verse 24.

Verse 25, putting away lying.

Speak every man truth with his neighbor, for we're members one of another.

Be angry in sin, not.

Let not the sun go down upon your wrath.

Neither give place to the devil.

Let him that stole still no more.

Verse 29, let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.

Verse 30, grieve not the Holy Spirit of God.

Can you see that those things he was talking about lying would be giving place to the enemy?

Yielding to rage and acting on that would be giving place to the enemy.

Stealing is giving place to the enemy.

Corrupt communication.

And one part of that, what is corrupt communication?

Well, he said instead of talking that way, good words, things that edify.

Well, the opposite of building up is tearing down.
