God bless you and welcome. We are in week number three of a four-part series that we really

are hoping is a theme for our year that we're calling God encounters. Thank God for church services

and church programs and just all the things we kind of physically do in a church life.

But man, I want more encounters with God.

I want experiences and just things that changed my life.

And I believe and we believe that God does that inside of every one of us.

And the scripture is clear that God can be found.

You can seek God and you can find God. And there are different

even experiences in the presence of God. And we all have a role in that. And so that's what we're

talking about in this series. Before we get there, I do want to remind you, you already know this

because you heard about it from your campus pastor and the news segment. But I want to say it too because it's just, this is an event that has marked us.

This is who we are as a church now.

We are a church that prays and fast.

We have, we started our church this way.

It was literally the first thing we ever did together as a church.

We started in February.

In fact, in a few weeks we'll celebrate 19 years as a church where we took the month of January started in February. In fact, in a few weeks, we'll celebrate 19 years as a church,

but we took the month of January back in 2001 to pray and fast. And we've done this every year,

twice a year. We have seasons of prayer. It might be the most least known thing about us

that other churches that are trying to figure us out is that, man, we're a church who

prays, and we've had just record attendance and your participation. I want to thank you for that.
