heading in terms of the United States' alliances in the world, peace in Ukraine, and really what comes

after that? So there is a lot to discuss and no one better to discuss it with than Dan Hoffman, who is our friend and Fox News contributor and former Moscow CIA chief, very esteemed long intelligence career in the United States with this very deep focus in Russia as well.

So Dan, welcome. It is great to have you with us today.

Thanks for having me on the program.

So, you know, over the weekend, we all sort of absorbed what we watched unfold on Friday

in the Oval Office. I heard a little bit of your comments on what you thought about

the spat that went on between President Zelensky and President Trump and J.D. Vance. But just at the

top here, you know, now that you've absorbed it a little bit, what do you think about what happened

on Friday? Yeah, I watched it in real time and then I watched it again and again and again.

And it was just so incredibly disconcerting. And I'll tell you, I've been in those types of situations,

not precisely like that where our president and the president of one of our allies are kind of

going toe to toe in the octagon

there verbally, albeit. But with senior leaders, and sometimes I found myself or others

stepping in to just try to dial down the tension a little bit and stop what looked like

where we might be headed, which was to a not so good place.

And what surprised me as I watched this again and again

was that the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio,

just kind of sat on his hands and didn't get in the middle of it.

And I just had thoughts about what Secretary Pompeo

might have done based on the way I saw him conduct himself
