Today's tip comes from a time log that a listener named Nicole sent to me.

She participated in my recent time tracking challenge, where thousands of people track

Nicole works as a lawyer.

She also has a three-year-old and is doing a home renovation.

All of these take a lot of time.

Like many of us, she also wanted to exercise and see friends in her busy schedule.

So she and three neighborhood friends found a solution.

They meet at 5 a.m., three mornings a week, to walk together for 45 minutes.

They chat and go about 2.7 miles and then they are back, in time to get their household

started on their days.

Now to be sure, setting an alarm for 4.40 a.m., three days a week, isn't easy.

It's dark enough that this 5 a.m. club needs to use headlamps.

However, if you had to bed between 9.30 and 10 p.m., it's not so bad.

And Nicole sleeps an hour or so later on the other days.
