The headline over at The New York Times by David Kilpatrick and Kate Kelly is

before giving billions, that's plural with an s, to Jared Kushner, Saudi Investment Fund had big doubts.

So Jared Kushner just went over to Saudi Arabia and got two billion dollars, two thousand

million dollars from the Saudi government.

Now I would argue to you that this is explicit direct payback

for two things. One, as Saudi Arabia was bombing the crap out of Yemen creating an international

crisis, millions of starving refugees, a humanitarian crisis.

The Trump administration was negotiating a deal or put together a deal to sell them even more

weaponry to bomb the crap out of the Yemenis.

And number two, as the federal government was starting to look into the killing of Jamal Qashoggi

by apparently by agents of the Crown Prince who's basically running Saudi Arabia,

Mohammed bin Salman, the Trump administration basically said,

you know, we don't care about that. We're going to turn away from that. We're going to ignore that.

The Obama administration been looking into it. We're going to put all that on hold. We're going to
