Next, Michael sits with Dannion Brinkley. Dannion is an international New York Times best-selling author of the inspirational book series, “The Secrets of the Light,” “Saved by the Light,” and “At Peace in the Light.” After Dannion experienced his first lightning strike and nearly died (in total, he has survived four brushes with death), he radically changed his life and became a hospice and nursing home volunteer, which he’s been doing for over 43 years. He is the co-founder of the Twilight Brigade, an organization that works in VA hospitals and is dedicated to no veteran dying alone. Dannion offers inspirational lectures on the Near-Death Experience, palliative, hospice care, and integrative healing practices, and recently received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service. 

In this engaging conversation, Michael and Dannion discuss:

-What Dannion’s life experiences taught him about the nature of life, living, and being both spiritual and human, and the eternality of our souls, i.e., no one dies

-Dannion’s decades-long work in hospice and palliative care, particularly with veterans
