What's up everybody, John Rubio here.

I just want to let you know that this week we will not be having a new episode because last week, the day we were supposed to record, we got hit by a freak storm here in Austin.

A ton of rain fell pretty unexpectedly.

And there were all these strong winds and trees were getting blown over.

It was a mess.

So instead of putting everybody at risk, I called it off.

I called the show recording off and told all the other co-hosts to stay home because there's no reason to risk yourself in those conditions driving all the way down south to record a beer show.

And it was gross. It was really, really bad outside. And it kind of tapered off around the time of recording,

but I saw the weather forecast, and it said that more rain was coming around the time that

people were going to drive home.

So instead of taking that risk, instead of having everybody come down here in what could

be a very dangerous situation.

I decided to say, hey, we're going to just skip a week and come back next week.

And next week we have a show that I'm really, really excited about.

Mike Lambert, before he moved away, he brought me a bunch of beers from New Galeris

that he picked up on a trip over there about

about nine months ago.

Last December is when it was.

So the beers have a little bit of age on it, but these are beers that can tolerate

that sort of thing.

So there shouldn't be very much flavor impact.

I'm super excited about this.
