Summary
We discuss the public shaming of children, and how it can be detrimental to the child and your relationship. We discuss compassion and empathy, and how spreading anger or shaming will not create a better world. We also share some of Brenè Brown’s research around shame – specifically why secrecy, silence, and judgment will exacerbate it, and empathy will eradicate it.
