Summary

I’m bringing you behind the scenes of one of the most meaningful panels I’ve ever been a part of—The Today Show’s entrepreneur panel in NYC. I was asked some of the best questions I've ever gotten about identity, confidence, people-pleasing, and the journey of becoming yourself. I open up about what I’ve learned in the last few years—how I went from running on autopilot to finally feeling whole, how I’ve healed, and why I no longer chase outside validation. I share how I’ve found peace, learned to say no without guilt, and how I navigate new chapters of life without fear. Plus, a look at how I start my slower summer days with my full morning routine.

The following podcast is a Dear Media production.

This is Let's Be Honest with Kristen Cavalery, a podcast all about getting real and open on everything from sex, relationships, reality TV, wellness, family, and so much more.

0:15.5

And just a fair warning, there will probably be some oversharing.

0:21.7

Welcome in. How is everybody? I feel like it's been a minute since we've just had a good

0:30.2

catch-up. I've been knee-deep in the honestly cavaliery stuff between the show and the

0:35.9

podcast and everything that we haven't really just

0:40.0

had a moment together. And so I'm excited to catch up today and talk about the summer. And I'm

0:48.0

actually very happy that the honestly Cavalry of it all is behind me. As fun as it was, it was not normal for me anymore.

0:59.1

You know, being on TV is not part of my normal life anymore. And I've said it a thousand times

1:03.6

about my previous shows, but there is a level of stress that comes with being on a TV show.

1:07.6

There just is. And promoting the show and it just, it was a lot. It was a lot. I know. And it's

1:14.4

funny because right after I said, I would love to do another season and I would love to do a podcast

1:21.0

tour. And now that the dust has settled and I've taken a second, I actually don't know that I want to do

1:26.5

either one again. I think the show and the

1:31.0

podcast tour were both so great, you know, and the response to the show was amazing. Obviously,

1:35.9

the podcast tour, you know, was incredible. And I got what I needed from it personally,

1:42.5

pushing myself out of my comfort zone and, you know,

1:45.4

accomplishing my biggest fear in life. And I just don't feel like I need to do it again.

1:50.6

And the show, I think, was so good the first season that I don't, it's like I almost don't want

1:57.4

to put the pressure on myself to have another really good season. I don't know

2:01.4

that I could do that again. I think we got really lucky with a lot of the natural drama. And

2:06.7

I don't know. I just, I don't think TV's for me anymore as what I've realized. It's just not.
