We're going to hop right into it. But before, before I do, can I just say this, thank you so so much to our

pastors Judah and Chelsea. You guys are the best. The funnest people I know, I wish I could golf as good as Judah he said that he shot a

68 or 69 one of those two a couple weeks ago and I need help with my golf game

but today we're gonna hop right into it and we're the the the book

that we're reading into I don't know why I almost said the story but it is a story we're

going to go into the Book of John, not the story. What is that song? What is that story? And not the story, the movie? The

Dear John, dear John, yes, I don't know why that's been on my mind, dear John, when I started thinking about the book of John,

but I'm really, really excited today to get into this story. John 13, and this is a story, Jesus, he's hanging out with his disciples and it is not a regular

hangout it is a dinner it's actually Jesus's last dinner with all of his disciples

together before he goes to the cross.

And just a couple moments before Jesus has just told his disciples that one of them was going to betray him.

And what happens is he tells Judas, he's like,

hey, go ahead and go do what you need to do,

because Judas was going to be the disciple that betrayed Jesus.

And then the story, we find it in John 13,

verse 34, and this is when Jesus

is about to predict Peter's denial.

And Peter, he loved being around Jesus

and he loved being the one that really stuck up for Jesus

in the Gospels, he see that Peter is mentioned a lot and so because he

was one of the main characters he expected himself to be there for Jesus

when Jesus needed him but he didn, but what Peter didn't know was that
