Welcome back. For this week's counterpoint, I would like to return to the Nicki Minaj saga from last week.

As we discussed on the panel, her statements have been attacked by many online.

One reaction that was particularly foolish came from Megan McCain, former co-host of The View.

Let's dive into it and then I will offer the counterpoint.

Okay, so Nicki Minaj, this was the notorious tweet. She tweeted,

my cousin and Trinidad won't get the vaccine because his friend got it and became impudent.

His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married.

Now the girl called off the wedding, so just pray on it and make sure you are comfortable with your decision.

Not bullied. That seems, you know, rational to say become pro-thursion and do not be bullied.

But Megan McCain was having none of it and she wrote back to Nicki.

And Nicki Minaj came back and said, eat crap. You, she didn't really say crap,

but I'm going to say crap every time I see the S word.

And which Megan McCain came back again and said,

you have an enormous platform and have just spread unimaginable vaccine hesitancy to your fans.

Not only is it deeply irresponsible, it is very sad.

I hope you talk to doctors and scientists like insert doctor there, like I did eventually.

So I want you guys to understand this was meant to be mean.
