0:15.0	Father, I'm full of praise this morning. I could be in one of those kind of moods in class this morning where we just go around and give thanks. Father, there's a very good reason why you told us to be extremely attentive to give gratitude
0:27.5	because when life is hard, Father, we need to remember you have done so much.
0:33.0	And Father, one of the things that you were talking to me about just lately, because it's been
0:36.3	a hard year, oh mercy in a number of ways.
0:41.6	And you reminded me that adversity is there to make a strong and you have a
0:49.2	goal in mind and we do not reach that goal easily it will not happen. We have to form some
0:58.5	spiritual muscle. Teach us this morning through your word.
1:03.0	In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
1:05.0	We're just going to study a couple of verses today out of God's word in Ephesians 4, 14 through 16, I want your eyes to glance back for just a moment
1:18.8	as you recall our lesson together last out of Ephesians 4, where we talked about in verse 11,
1:27.5	spiritual giftings and spiritually gifted people, I'll repeat so that we'll have our proper context this morning in verse 11.
1:35.0	It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be
1:39.8	pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service so that the body of Christ
1:45.4	may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of
1:50.0	the Son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
1:55.9	So our lesson this morning continues on in that vein of maturity, of growing up in Christ. And then it says in verse 14, then we will no longer
2:05.8	be infants tossed back and forth by the waves and blown here and there by every wind of
2:11.8	teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men
2:14.2	and their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth and love, we will in
2:19.8	all things grow up into him who is the head that is Christ.
