Hello, Lakers Nation, welcome in to Lakers Nation live.

The Lakers get the win over the Portland Trailblazers.

No LeBron James. It's some way the Lakers still managed to get it done. Let's face it,

the Blazers is not one of the better NBA teams out there, but, but they are still a team that can give you a run.

As we saw there at the end, they put some pressure on the Lakers, but fortunately, L.A.

was ultimately able to finish them off and get the W now back to 500,

5 and 5 through the first 10 games of the season.

Got a lot to talk about from this one.

Matt, how you doing? lakers get a win uh i'm doing pretty well trevor uh i am happy to be on the live stream for a win finally so that's great and yeah

good way to cap off the weekend here yeah absolutely good way to to close to close out the weekend. A Lakers win. Let's face it, this was kind of a game that you had to win. Not in the sense that it's necessarily a must win or whatever. Like you're not in a huge trouble if you don't win the game, but this is a very winnable game on your schedule, even without LeBron. And so those are the games that you really have to make sure that you walk away with the W, you put it in the bank, and then off you go because you're going to face some more difficult opponents later on in the season. So I was pleased to see that while they made me nervous a few times, ultimately the important part, the Lakers, they got it done. Without LeBron, they still got the win. Yeah, what is Los Angeles without some Hollywood drama, right? And look, I think coming into this game, it was like sort of a sneaky trap game for the Lakers, you know, that comeback win over the Sons to begin the in-season tournament. And then now you face this Blazers team at home. I know the Lakers didn't have LeBron, but, you know, the Blazers are also missing Scoot Henderson. Robert Williams is out for the year. So, you know, there were definitely some names that I was not familiar with until tonight. And so this had all the makings of that, but I'm just happy that the Lakers were able to pull it together in the third quarter and ultimately down the stretch of the fourth to get this win.

Yeah, got a little scary there during the fourth.

The Blazers pulled within one.

But fortunately, the Lakers were able to see it out and get this game through.
