Vegas joins me as well. But in the meantime as we bring

aboard play-by-play voice of the Detroit Red Wings, Ken Daniels Kenny they

may never lose another game again. What do you think?

Well as opposed to Elliot saying that I can be insufferable.

First of all, I'm surprised you still have my number,

because the last time I spoke to you was when the Red Wings I think won five in a row and six of seven last February when they were technically in the playoffs before out shooting Tampa Bay by a whole lot and Baseleski stole the game and then they went into Ottawa and lost those two and that sets Steve Eisenman on the tone where he's going now.

But I tend to be the voice of reason because last

season after six games the Red Wings were 3 1 and 2 they had 8 points they were 7 3 and 2

after a dozen but ten points this season and a five game

winning street Jeff it feels different it's the depth it's the defense it's the backup goalie the coaching with systems in place and

even half the roster ten new players is different it's bigger stronger and

70 who can all play but they will lose again I can guarantee you that.

Well listen after this weekend you have to wonder and you know you set the table really nicely can and let's start to sort of drill down from there and I do want to get to talking about the coach and I do want to get to talking about the blue line and the nature of defending in the

n h hurl right now but I mean the headline maker is Alex the Brinket I mean not

only you know the hat trick against Calgary but the performance Saturday where everybody was going at Alex

Brinkett, including the fans. Every time he touched the puck during the welcome

back video, every time he was on the ice whether it was

Brady Kacchuck or Ridley Greg in a penalty that I didn't really think

warranted a penalty but nonetheless there it was I mean that's the treatment Alex de Brinkett is going to get when he goes to Ottawa

for the remainder of his career and he seems fine with that
