Yesterday, you hear the story about the J6, Rob, I don't know what page that's on, it's like,

look, these guys that were falsely arrested and they did time and they're going through the nasty

last few years that they had, you know, the president comes out and says, do you have that

story, Rob, about the amount of money, they're trying to help them out, and, you know, Newsom got upset about it,

and he came out and he said he vows to tax 100% of tax on DOJ's anti-weaponization fund payout.

And it created a ton of conversations. It was one of the main stories on X.

Gavin Husson vowed Wednesday to tax any payouts that California residents received from the $1.776 billion

dollar anti-weaponization fund that Trump secured in a settlement with his own Justice Department

as Democratic lawmakers

and states across the country ramp up efforts to counter the president on the measure.

Is this the one about anyone from California that received any of those funds, we want to tax

100% those proceeds?

Is this the one about the slush fund? I believe so. I actually, hold on

one second. Because there's a clip that he's talking about, and Newsom's pledge mirrors legislation

unveiled earlier this week in New York by Democrat Alex Boers, a state assembly member and House

candidate that would assess 100% tax against payout from the fund.

Trump announced that the fund last week as part of a $10 billion settlement with the DOJ and his lawsuit against the IRS Democratic efforts to undercut any payouts are picking

up across the country. Democratic state lawmaker in New York are pushing for a vote by next week

to fully tax payouts from the fund. Go forward, Rob. This is the clip.
