Hi and welcome back to the Meaningful Money podcast, just me this week, at least for the intro and outro,

0:05.0

because this week I'm having a conversation with my great friend, Andy Hart. Andy will introduce

0:11.0

himself in just a second, but he's here basically shilling his new book, which has been a long

0:17.6

time coming. I've been talking with him about it for years, it seems.

0:23.8

But it seems like the timing of it's going to be perfect.

0:31.4

He sent me a pre-production copy. It's great. I was smiling throughout because I know Andy really well,

0:35.8

and I can kind of hear it in his voice. But Andy is brilliant communicator, and he's superb at distilling things down into really easy to remember and properly impactful ways.

0:42.3

So I think I'm going to enjoy my conversation with him.

0:45.3

It's basically a chat between mates about a cool new project that one of the mates has been working on.

0:49.3

So here's me and Andy Hart. Enjoy.

0:52.3

Well, I don't know exactly how many times my good friend Andy Hart has been on the Meanful Money podcast, but it's always a pleasure and it's great to have you back, mate. How you doing? I'm good, my friend. I think it's maybe my, definitely third, maybe fourth. Yeah, it was the first one, the infamous one. The infamous one, yes. What was it called? A little bit of knowledge. Yeah, exactly.

1:11.9

Yeah, which... Yeah, lead balloon in some places. Yeah, in some places, but others really liked it.

1:17.6

But anyway, it's a long time ago now, mate, isn't it? Yeah, I think the most common reaction was

1:21.6

you were literally talking about me. I felt like you're talking about me. And like a thousand people

1:26.6

said the same thing. So, I think we hit a nerve. We definitely did, but people don't always like that. But anyway, not saying. Look, man, just many people listening today, so I'm watching this, we'll know who you are. But you want to just give us a quick summary for those that don't? Yeah. So my namey hart i'm a financial services lifer i've been this uh in the money business in the money

1:48.6

business for about 20 years uh like yourself pete i'm a regulated financial advisor so i run a

1:54.7

a small firm called maven advisor sort of based in around london uh and then i also do quite a lot

2:00.8

work within the financial planning community for other financial advisors, hence, you know, like yourself knows me.

2:06.6

And the main brand I run there is a sort of play on words called humans under management, and we mainly provide marketing content for financial advisors and we run conferences.

2:16.6

So that's, I suppose, yeah, the brand that's probably having the most impact as we,

2:23.6

as we work with financial advisors all around the world.

2:26.0

But it's all the similar thing, you know, better client outcomes with money.
