Sometimes in our lives we all have pain we all have sorrow but if we are wise we know that there's always always

always tomorrow lean on me Hey y'all, I'm gonna try something different this week on the no BS news hour. I'm gonna skip the talk of the president, the mayor, the stock market, the world.

It's all wrapped up in a continual loop which makes me anxious and puts me on edge.

Tends to drown out the beautiful things that float my spirits.

I'm sure yours too.

Things like friends maybe, and family most definitely. So in the spirit of the holidays

we're going to drop the news of mayhem and corruption this week and focus on

what love is.

So this week, we bring you two stories,

both about a pair of unconventional friendships.

In the second half of our show, you'll hear about an intervention I've arranged for our friend

Joe the intern.

But first, we bring his story about an old man, Harold, and an old reclusive woman named Annie.

Harold's a good guy, but he's also a reminder that we grow good and sturdy men here,

even if we tend to forget they're standing tall right next to us

in our collective forests.
