They had talked about it for years,

and l'er gaho.

They had talked about it for years,

traveling for a year straight.

It would be amazing.

Matt and Lucy finally decided that the perfect vehicle for this adventure

would be the motorcycle.

They would ride two up from the UK down through Africa to the very bottom.

South Africa.

It would be the adventure of a lifetime.

But there are some hurdles to work out,

like one, they didn't have a motorcycle,

two, they didn't have a motorcycle license,

three, they didn't have any experience riding an adventure motorcycle,

but that didn't stop them from putting their plan in motion.

Now, it can't be said that it's been easy for them choosing this route, they've had their challenges. Some of those were even

before they left home, like this one. Picture this. While getting the feel of this fully

loaded adventure bike, two up, Matt and Lucy visit Lucy's parents' house.

Now Lucy's parents were adamantly opposed to the idea of riding a motorcycle down through Africa.

They hate motorcycles.

They wanted nothing to do with it and they wouldn't even acknowledge that they were about to do this trip and they certainly didn't want to come out and see the bike and Matt under all that tension and stress and the weight of the big bike makes a huge mistake that adds, well, insult to injury that I'm sure Lucy's parents
