0:15.0	In today's study, we visit the cross and listen to the final words of Christ spoken just before his death.
0:23.1	You will find that they hold tremendous truth and application for all of us who live on this side of the cross.

0:38.9	Let's begin our study of the last words of the Lord Jesus today in John chapter number
0:43.8	19 because I believe that John gives us a little perspective on some of the earliest

0:55.3	foundation to our study. We begin in John 19 verse number one. The Bible says then Pilate therefore
1:01.0	took Jesus and scourged him and the soldiers platted a crown of thorns and put it on his head
1:07.1	and they put on him a purple robe and said hail king of the jews and they smote him with their hands
1:14.4	the pilot therefore went forth again and saith unto them behold i bring him forth to you that ye may know that i find
1:22.0	no fault in him then came jesus forth wearing the crown of thorns in the purple robe,
1:29.0	and Pilots saith unto them, behold the man.
1:34.1	When the chief priest, therefore, an officer saw him, they cried out saying,
1:38.7	Crucify him, crucify him.
1:41.7	Pilots saith unto them, take ye him and crucify him, for I find no fault in him.
1:48.4	The Jews answered him, we have a law, and by our law he ought to die because he made himself
