Growing up, I marveled at the kids in high school who insisted on standing out.

The one sporting spiky, multi-colored hair, vampire makeup, platform boots,

wearing the whole ensemble to history class, they rejected the social order,

even as I tried so desperately to work myself into it.

Meet Cass and Bob like a new arrival from a different country because basically,

for all intents and purposes, I was born.

My home, my church, the places where my family spent the majority of our time

was a land apart from high school.

We're not only that our apostle Herbert W. Armstrong routinely speaks the Lord God of the Universe,

the Lord God of the Universe, spoke back.

Every week in services, we learn the intents were nigh,
