Hello and welcome to Mousalja's best ear ever.

This is Becky, and I'm here to talk to you today about episode

135, originally premiering on May 29, 2011. For anybody who knows me, they shouldn't be

surprised. This is one of episodes I picked. In this episode, we talk about World War II and Walt

Disney and his effects and his animation that he did for the

United States as sort of propaganda, if you will. We visit sort of a space in the Walt Disney

Family Museum that is dedicated to this era of history. I think it's particularly interesting

as we reflect back over the last few years and the role that Disney has played in politics, particularly in Florida.

And we're sort of been a, I don't know, I guess criticism by some about Disney being involved in politics, but actually it's nothing new.

So that's sort of an interesting thing to think about as well, from my opinion.

I hope if you have not been to the Walt Disney Family Museum,

it's still appropriate to go and to take a look at this era in history

and also do some Googling and take a look at some of these old shorts that were made.

Just a quick note, obviously, most of them have characters in them now that we would not

deem appropriate today.
