We have plenty of baseball to discuss on this podcast because not only has Tennessee played

five baseball games and it's less than 24 hours away

from opening a three-game series against Dayton, there's also been quite a bit of drama, which is par for the course when it comes to Tennessee baseball, but don't know that we necessarily expected it for the opener.

So plenty to discuss here on the pod.

We'll talk a little Alabama A&M sweep towards the end.

We'll give a couple of quick thoughts on what we want to see against Dayton this weekend.

But Wes, first and foremost we have some good old-fashioned

Tennessee baseball drama to discuss. Yeah we do the whole Maui Ohuna thing, it's, there's no way to not mention it off the top, right, Ben. I mean, it's, it's certainly disappointing for Tennessee. Don't think it's the end of the world or anything if they can get this sorted soon but

you know that anything that has to do with Tennessee baseball right now

tends to be a little acrimonious in one way or another whether that's coming from Tennessee's

end or from someone who does not like Tennessee. They they uh anytime that you see

this in recruiting stuff we've seen this when they played other teams. It's just it's it's

something and it's always going to be something and I don't know if that's going to

be just a way it is throughout the time that Tony Vitellis here at

Tennessee but there's seems like there's always going to be something.

It will be. It will always be like this under Tony Vitello and I think there's several layers to it. A, I think it's good for college baseball not not good for college baseball I think it is great for college baseball because he

he brings eyeballs to the sport that wouldn't typically be locked in.

The casual observers are more locked in to what's going on and I think he brings some some new viewers as well people that don't really care for baseball.

Now they're curious as to what old Tony Vitello is doing this go around so it'll always be like this
