Hey, Mastalgia listeners, this is Jeff, and I'm here to introduce you to this week's episode of Mousalge's Best Ear Ever.

This week will be revisiting episode number 101,

which originally aired the week of October 4, 2010. So this was a cool episode because we were

reviewing the first ever Destination D event that D23 had hosted, and it was at the Disneyland

hotel. And so we're there, and the show is about the whole event.

So we talk about the good stuff and the things we weren't so sure about.

And, you know, we talk about everything in there.

But the thing that I remember the most is that this is the first time I'd ever seen the

Mascateers as a group kind of get together and discuss their history.

And I know they had done this for the NFFC times before,

and they were well known to the Disney fan community, but somehow I just never had gotten a chance

to see the Masceteers. And this was the first time I did get to see them. Of course, it comes to

mind to me because today, August 1st, was Karen Pendleton's Mousketeer Karen's birthday.

She passed away in 2019, so she has a dear place in our nostalgia hearts. But she was there

for this 2010 Destination D. She was one of the masqueteers that was participating and able to be
