Welcome back to the Walkdown Steelers podcast.

John Ledyard here with you guys over at Fanrag Sports and a number of other

places around the interwebs. And we've got a couple of different points I want to talk about today,

all in relation to the team's first preseason game. First of all, extremely excited that football

is right around the corner and that the Steelers first action, we finally get to evaluate these guys on the field against an opponent in a game day type

setting, even if it is a little bit different.

You've probably often heard Tomlin talk about how important it is for guys to come out

there with a game-like demeanor and with the demeanor that their job could be on the line

in a lot of the situations. And so he specifically talked about that with Josh Dobbs, who we heard today will

start. Not a super big surprise because Ben obviously not playing and then Antonio Brown not playing.

And then he said anyone else who isn't healthy won't play. And so at this point we don't know exactly who

we can probably figure out who some of those guys are. We won't know who all of them are

until probably closer to game time. You know, some guys just returning from injury. Other guys

...
